Nestled in the prestigious Rockcliffe Park neighbourhood, this stunning kitchen renovation in Ottawa showcases the perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics. Our team at Denys Design-Build transformed a poorly designed, divided kitchen and dining room. The result is a practical, informal, and beautiful open-concept space. It has become the heart of this Rockcliffe home.
This Ottawa kitchen renovation sits just minutes from the Ottawa River and scenic McKay Lake. We reimagined the existing cabinetry in a different layout. We also installed energy-saving dimmers and removed a wall to increase natural daylighting. Completed in 2003, the project blends with the home’s craftsman-style architecture. This style is popular in Ottawa neighbourhoods like New Edinburgh, Manor Park, and the Glebe.
In addition, we added back-forgiving wood flooring, a luxurious island, and a new pantry door with acid-etched glass. We created a warm and inviting kitchen space that is perfect for cooking, cleanup, and family gatherings. This award-winning renovation was recognized by the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association (GOHBA). It reflects our commitment to exceptional kitchen renovations in Ottawa’s most desirable areas, from Rockcliffe Park to Westboro and beyond.
We also renovated the living room in this Placel House home.
“With your experience and ideas, you were able to suggest improvements that made the kitchen work from both a functional and aesthetic standpoint. We went from a cool, poorly designed, divided kitchen and dining room into a practical, informal and beautiful room and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Your attention to detail helped make every element fit with the architecture of the home. Your suggestions for lighting, doors and even paint colors have contributed to the “Touch of Craftsman” you understood we were looking for. We continually receive complements on our transformed space, and the kitchen has become a pleasure for cooking, cleanup and family gatherings.” Trish & Chris
