Denys completed a master ensuite renovation in Ottawa’s charming New Edinburgh neighbourhood. The Belvedere House project sits near historic Rideau Hall and the Rideau River. It included a refined master ensuite and closet renovation. First, our team relocated the third-floor bathroom into the master bedroom. This change made room for a luxurious 40 inch by 40 inch shower. In addition, we refreshed a claw foot tub in ice grey. Art deco tile now defines the walls. A solar tube also fills the shower area with natural daylight. Finally, the adjoining custom closet delivers practical storage finished to the same standard.
The existing closet expands and incorporates three Japanese style shoji sliding doors. Yet the greatest storage surprise was found space under the slope roof, large enough for a walk-in closet. More green friendly Sun tubes brighten the space while saving energy costs. Further along the green building concept, existing door hardware and a car grill-like heat register were harvested and renewed with chrome plating.
