Award Spotlight: NKBA Best Small Bathroom – Mackay House
Maximizing a tiny footprint is a challenge we love to solve. Our work on the Mackay House was awarded Best Small Bathroom (under 55 square feet) by NKBA Ottawa, highlighting our expertise in high-efficiency design and compact luxury.
Tiny Footprint, Premium Results
In many urban bathroom renovations in Ottawa, space is the ultimate luxury. At the Mackay House, we proved that you don’t need a massive floor plan to create a sophisticated retreat. We focused on “visual expansion”—using clever storage, wall-mounted fixtures, and high-end finishes to ensure the room felt open and airy rather than cramped.
As a design-build firm, we specialized in creating a custom layout for this project that maximized every square centimetre. This award-winning entry in our bathroom portfolio remains a favourite for homeowners looking to modernize their older homes without the need for costly structural additions.
The NKBA Standard of Excellence
To be recognized by NKBA Ottawa (the National Kitchen & Bath Association) is a testament to the technical precision we bring to every build. Their judges look for designs that meet strict NKBA standards for ergonomics, safety, and aesthetics. Winning this award reinforces our 40-year reputation as a leading home renovation expert in Ottawa.
