Award Spotlight: NKBA 2nd Place for Contemporary Bathroom – Pine House

July 7, 2026Awards

We are thrilled to celebrate our 2nd place win at the NKBA Ottawa Design Excellence Awards for our work on the Pine House. This project was recognized in the Contemporary/Modern Bathroom category, showcasing our ability to create sleek, high-functioning retreats that serve as a sanctuary within the home.

Modernizing the Spa Experience

In many bathroom renovations in Ottawa, the challenge is to balance minimalist aesthetics with everyday practicality. For the Pine House, we focused on a “visual quiet” design—using premium finishes, hidden storage, and precision tile work to create a spa-like atmosphere.

As a design-build firm, we oversaw every detail of the Pine House transformation, ensuring that the technical plumbing and lighting modernized the space without compromising the clean, architectural lines. This project remains a highlight of our bathroom project gallery, proving that even a standard bathroom footprint can be elevated to award-winning standards through thoughtful design.

Recognition from NKBA Ottawa

Receiving a 2nd place honour from NKBA Ottawa is a significant achievement. The National Kitchen & Bath Association is the industry’s leading authority, and their awards are judged by a panel of experts who look for technical perfection as much as visual appeal.

This award reinforces our 40-year reputation as a premier home renovation expert in Ottawa. Whether we are designing a master suite or a guest powder room, we bring the same level of award-winning craftsmanship to every square inch.
